Mr Frank Gavan Daffy, K.C., a Rader of the Victorian Bar, is a son of tho late Sir Charles Gavan Duffy, and brother of Mr John Gavan Duffy, barrister and solicitor, who for thirty years was prominent in Victorian politics. tie was born at Dublin in 1852, educated at Stonyhurst College and Melbourne XJniTOraity (M.A. and LL.BO* **nd called to the Bar in 1874. His publications inolnde "A’Beokett'e Transfer of Land Statutes/; and be edited (with Skeins), “Insolvency Statute, 1882. “Insolvency Statute, 1890' (with Mr Hugh), and "Transfer of Land Act, 1895 (with Eagleson). Ho also edited the first edition of "Australian Law Times, and is the present editor of "Victorian Law Be ports.” ■
