Grace Barbidgo, the suffragette who was burned whilst placing phosphorus in a letter-box, has been bound over at Marylcbono Court to keep the peace for six months, and has promised not to repeat the offence. The magistrate described her as a poor, deluded dupo. Sylvia Fankhurst has been sentenced to fourteen days’ imprisonment. She declared that aho intended to carry out a hunger-strike. , . _ , . The police gave evidence that Sylvia Fankhurst hurried to an inkpot in the police station, and with an inky, hand smacked Superintendent Wells s face. LETTERS BLEST INTO FLAMES.
