WHERE THE MESSAGE CAME FROM. Press Association. • CHRISTCHURCH, February 6. The cable message sent to Mr Keir Hardie concerning military service and repudiating Mr Allen’s offer of an expeditionary force, came from Professor Mills and Mr Semple, and was drawn up in the Peace bbciety’a office on Tuesday afternoon. The Prime Minister yesterday received a cable message from the Hon. James Allen, stating that H.M.S. New Zealand would leave Portsmouth that day for New Zealand via South Afrj~—
