TRANS-CONTINENTAL RAILWAY ’ CASE. (Received February 6, 9.35 p.m.) MELBOURNE, February 6. As a result of the report of Mr Justice Hodges, the Royal Commissioner who investigated tho allegations made in the House by Mr Fowler against Mr Henry Chinn, an engineer employed on tho trans-continenlal railway, the Government reinstates Mr Chinn immediately, and pays his back pay since his suspension, as well as the cost of his defence.
