MAWSON EXPEDITION

WIRELESS SAYS “EVERYTHING ALL RIGHT.’’ SYDNEY, February 5. Professor David has received a •wireless massage from the operator at the Macquarie station stating: “Wireless from Mawson. Everything all right. He cannot read me yet.” This is the first message from Dr Mawson for some months past. The fact that he cannot read the Macquarie messages implies that the Aurora has not reached the base of Adelie Land. The vessel carried a fresh wireless receiver. It is expected that the expedition will return to Hobart in March.
