LONDON. February 4. Sir Newton Moore, Agent-General, represented West Australia at Admiral Bedford’s funeral at Walton. Thirtysix bluejackets dragged the gun-car-riage. Admiral Bedford’s collie, “ Tony,” followed the remains to the graveside. (Received February 5, 3.23 p.m.) LONDON, February 5. An impressive memorial service was held, at which the Bishop of London eulogised the deceased.
