HUSBAND AND WIFE
QUESTION OF CRIMINAL RESPOND SIBILITY. BRISBANE, February 5. A peculiar point was raised in a case before the District Court. A man waa charged with setting fire to his wife’s house, and his counsel contended that under the law no husband and wife cohabiting can incur criminal responsibility by doing or omitting to do any act regarding the prosperity of the other. The judge upheld the point, and dismissed the case.
