This was a small entry, and competition was keen at prices fully 10s to Xss per head in advance of last week's rates- The yarding was a mixed one, consisting chiefly of cows and heifer's. Best bullocks made £l3 10s to £l4 7s Gd, good £ll 10s to £l2 15s, best Cows and heifers £lO to £lO 7s Cd, good £8 to £9 10s. Fat Sheep.—2292 were penned. The bulk were medium weight good butchers sorts, which were keenly competed for at prices about 2s per head in advance ot last week’s rates. Heavy weights sold at about last week’s fates; Best wethers 23S Gd to 255, extra to 26s Gd, good 21s to 235, best ewes 21s to 22s 3d, good 18a to 20s Gd. Fat Lambs.—3lo were penned.
