A wireless message received last night from the Warrimoo, en route from Sydney, states that the vessel will arrive at Wellington at noon today. It lias been suggested by the Hutt County Council that the services of Mr J. E. Fulton, C.E., be retained for the purpose of examining the Akalarawa(Jpper Hutt bridge and reporting on the additional weight the bridge would need to carry, if the Upper Hutt water supply pipes are brought across it, the cost of examination to be borne by the Upper Hutt Town Board. The board at its meeting on Monday night decided not to accede to the request, but to proceed under tho Municipal Corporations Act. According to tho "Frankfurter Zeitung," steps are being taken for the establishment of a big international correspondence bureau for Catholic newspapers. The undertaking, which has the support of high personalities both among the clergy and the laity of the Roman Church, will maintain its own bureaus in all the more important States, and have correspondents in every country on the globe.
