TWO FRESH CHARGES
AGAINST EX-CONSTABLE REMMERSWhen Charles Alfred Remmers, who up till his arrest a little over a week ago was a constable in the Wellington police force, appears before the Magistrate’s Court to-day, six charges of theft', and ono of breaking, entering, and theft will bo preferred against him. In addition to the five charges against the accused, particulars of which have already been published, two fresh informations have been laid. These allegations are that he committed the theft of £6 3s 9d belonging to Leonard Sowman, tobacconist, Willis street, and that ho stole cutlery valued at £1 Is 9d, the property of Spencer George Radford, Willis street.
