FATAL STONE-THROWING

Press Association. DUNEDIN, February 4, A stono-throwing episode at Kavensbourne had a sad sequel at the hospital last night, when a boy named Cecil Robert Randall, eleven years of tge> died from hemorrhage of the jram. Whilst playing with other boys on Sunday ho was struck on tho head ty a stono thrown by a companion. Yesterday morning he became unconscious and on operation was immediately necessary owing to hemorrhage. The operation was performed at tho hospital last night, and tho boy at first appeared to have a chance of recovery. However, he took a turn for the worse and died during tho night.
