He states that the army had not been demobilised for any definite period, in order to keep in training. He adds: “We occupy ourselves in manoeuvring and target-shooting, the generals setting the example and organising matches. Our entire leisure is devoted to rifle-firing, gun _ practice, and marching. The chief business is to avoid letting the men become bored by compulsory inaction.” TERMINATION OF ARMISTICE. MONTENEGRO FORCING SURRENDER OF SCUTARL CETTINJB, February 3. The termination of the armistice was received with satisfaction, through the Montenegro people being desirous of forcing the surrender of Scutari before peace is concluded.
