VICTORIA v. QUEENSLAND. (Received February 2, 5.5 p.m.) BRISBANE, February 2. The weather was cool and dull, and there was rain during the afternoon. Victoria, in the first innings, made 266—E. V. Carroll 31, Armstrong 60, Ryder 21, E. L. Carroll 29, Brown 63, Matthews (not out) 19. Smith took two wickets for 22, Downey seven for 98. Queensland in the second innings lost two wickets for 40 runs—Sheppard (not out) 20.
