BOX CONTAINING £4OOO DISAPPEARS. MADRID, January 30. A box containing £4OOO, part of a consignment of £50,000, was stolen from the Hamburg-Amerika Company’s steamer Cap Blanco, 7523 tons, between Rio de Janeiro and Vitno. Last November ten thousand sovereigns were stolen and replaced by lead in a consignment of 200,000 sovereigns sent to Egypt by the Bank of England to the branch of .the Credit Lyonnais, in Alexandria.
