SITUATION HAS NOT IMPROVED-

SYDNEY, January 30. The Northern mining situation has not improved. The Proprietors’ Association has replied to the Employees’ Federation, that a conference cannot be held until the Bnrwood mine resumes.

The reply was considered at a meeting of the Delegate Board of the Employees’ Federation, which passed a resolution that failing arrangements being made for a conference within seven days an aggregate meeting of employees bo called to consider the position.
