TRADES UNION BILL
AMENDMENT WORSE THAN OSBORNE JUDGMENT.
LONDON, January 29,
Mr G. J. Wardle’s amendment 14 tho Trades Union Bill, conferring power on the Registrar of Friendly Societies to redress the grievances of 'members of the union where there haa been a breach of tho roles, was adopted. Some Labourites declared that the amendment is worse than the Osborne judgment.
ANOTHER AMENDMENT CARRIED.
(Received January 30, 10.20 pjn.) LONDON, January 30. On Mr G. J. Wardle’s amendment, Mr Isaacs moved to make the registrar's decision conclusive wxthouf. an. appeal to the Law Courts. Both amendments were carried with* out a division.
