RIFLE SHOOTING

KARORI CLUB. To-morrow the Karori Rifle Club wifl continue its series competitions with a ten-shot match at the 900 and 1000 yards ranges. • The match will conclude the club’s long-range aggregate competition for the season. The leading positions are at present held by Rifleman G. Tinney and President H. Marshall, the former holding a one point advantage from the latter. For the longrange competition among handicap men the following are the leading competitors to date: Riflemen J. J. Cassells (226), A. C. Maisey (20-1), G. Jones (193), A. Guise (177), and W. Chimside (172).
