LIFE-SAVING
CHAMPIONSHIP REPRESENTATIVES.
The executive of the Wellington centre of tEe Royal Life-saving Society met last evening, Mr G. S. Hill presiding. 'The centre’s examiners (Messrs G. S. Hill, W. C. Collier, and G. H. Neal, recommended that C. T. Arthur, L. N. Avery, C. H. Neal and A. A. Somerville bo appointed to represent Wellington in the Wigram Shield life-sav-ing competition at the New Zealand swimming championships. The recommendation was adopted, with a proviso that K. D. Russell be included in the team as reserve. Mr A. A. Somerville was appointed manager. Messrs Hill and Somerville were elected delegates to represent the centre at the Dominion conference, to bo held at Wanganui during the swimming championship meeting..
