WANGANUI NOTES

January 27. Mrs Hastings Moore (Gonville) is visiting friends in Wellington. Mi-s Colin Campbell (Napier) is on a visit to Wellington. Mrs John Duncan (Durie Hill) and the Misses Duncan (2) are visiting Wellington, and are staying at the Grand. Mrs H. H Ostler (Wellington) is staying with her mother, Mrs James Duigan, Baigownie. Miss Mculi left last week to visit friends at Marua. She makes one of a large party to spend a week at the mountain house.

Mr and Mrs Larmonr (Wellington), with friends, spent An enjoyable ween motoring up north, and doing the mountain trip. They returned to Wellington last week.

Airs and Miss Higgle motored through to New Plymouth mat week. They have returned.

ilrs balder (Nelson) and Miss Nalder have leturned home. While here they did the mountain trip with other friends. Airs G. J. Heberts (Hokitika) has been visiting friends in Wanganui. Mrs Veter Thomson (Dunedin) was up for her sister's (Miss H. McParlane's) wedding. Mrs Johnston and Miss Johnston (Gisborne) were here for Mr H. i'. Johnston’s wedding. On December 24th, 1912, at St. Mark's Church, Pontville, Tasmania, Miss Inez Maud Davy, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs L. V. Davy, Keith street, Wanganui, was married to Mr K. Price fiamsey, late of Wanganui. The ceremony was performed m the evening, the Kev. C. H. Corran officiating. The bride was given away by Mr A. D. Green, whose guest she has been. She wore a dainty gown of white embroidered muslin and carried an ivory bound prayer book, the gift of the bridegroom. She was attended by Alins Price Kamsey (sister of the bridegroom), who also wore white muslin. Dr and Mrs Wall have been holidaying on their farm at Boston for a fortnight.
