The Committee of Union and Progress, in a proclamation, says that i£iamil's Cabinet appointed the most incapable generals and prosecuted the most honest, and instead of makingwar destroyed the warlike spirit of tha army and the patriotism of the people and tried to restore the Hamidian regime. The Ottomans could not endure the traitors. TaJaat Bey has informed the Embassies that the Government has taken measures to assure their security.
