TWELVE MEN BROWNED NORWEGIAN BARQUE FOUNDERS IN NORTH SEA. By Telegraph—Pre.s Association—'Oopyrighl LONDON, January 23. The Norwegian barque Ogda toundered in tlie North Sea. The crew took to a boat, which was continually swamped. Twelve men, including the captain, were drowned at intervals. Three survivors were picked upA MILE OF WRECKAGE. ON CENTRAL QUEENSLAND COAST. BRISBANE, January 21. A fisherman reports sighting a ship s lifeboat, bottom upwards, deck chairs, a quantity of casks, boxes, and ilotsarn extending for a mile on the Central Queensland coast, near the Narrows, between Gladstone and Rockhampton. Steamers are investigating the matter. (Received January 20, 1 a.in.) BRISBANE, January ‘id. The wreckage reported is merely a punt-load of furniture belonging to a fisherman which was capsized.
