WAIHI MINERS’ UNION

REPUDIATES MR MoLENNAN. Press Association. WAIHI, January 24. Tho following message has been forwarded to tho Federation of Labour, Wellington, by tho president of the Ohinerauri Mines and Batteries Employees’ Union (registered under the Arbitration Act) : “The most satisfactory industrial agreement ever arrived at by a mines’ union in Dominion was obtained to-day by Waihi Union.” Mr M. B. Rudd, president of the local Miners’ Union, gives an emphatic denial to tho report that Mr McLennan or any other person represented the Waihi minors at the Federation Conference in Wellington.
