MODEL YACHT CLUB

A proposal is on foot to form a model yacht club and from the numerous promises of support this looks like proving a big success. A meeting will shortly bo called to form the club, arrange lor races, trophies, etc. It is interesting to note that over in Picton model yacht racing is carried on with keen enthusiasm, as was evidenced on Boxing Day, when a big fleet of twenty-five competed for prizes. Should the Wellington Club be formed some ten or fifteen of those Picton mode] racers may bo sent over to compete hero at Easter. Anyone interested in the sport, who may wish to be identified with tho new club, can obtain full particulars from Mr Bernasconi, To Aro House, Wellington.
