BOYS’ INSTITUTE

A cricket team from the Wellington Boys’ Institute journeyed to Levin on Anniversary Day and played a team from the staff ot the Weraroa Training Farm. Tho Wellington team, batting first, compiled 118 runs (Hewitt 53 and B. Mabin 41), to which the home team replied with 10 in the first innings and 75 iu tho second. Tho institute won by an innings and 33 runs. With the ball Chamberlain and A. Mabin were the most successful. Tho boys thoroughly enjoyed the outing, and convey their thanks to Mr Burlinson and his staff for tho splendid arrangements made.
