WAVERLEY-WAITOTARA races. (PER PRESS AGENCY.) Patba, Friday. The "Waverley-Waitotara races took place yesterday. The weather was fine, and about 700 people were present. Hurdles.—Gazelle, Ist ; Grey Momus, 2nd. Aroha fell and kicked Lang, the jockey, who was carried off the course in an insensible state. Maiden Plate, one mile and a half.—Lapland, Ist ; Tamouri, 2nd ; Gladiola, 3rd. Cup, two miles.—Hailstorm, Ist; Banshee, 2nd. Flying Handicap.—Ratcatcher, Ist ; Lapland, 2nd ; Tamouri, 3rd. Waverly-Waitotara Handicap.—Hailstorm, Ist ; Otawa, 2nd.
