BY TKhKQRAPH. CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. A few sales of good milling wheat have been made at 4a 9d to 5s ; feed wheat is inquired for at 4s 3d, but there is none offering. Flour ia in fair demand at £l3 for local brands, and £l4 for guaranteed town brand of Adelaide. In oats there is but little doing, buyers evincing no inclination at present to operate at once—ls 9d for feed and 2s for milling. Barley is quite out of the market. Butter is coming in very freely, but the usual buyers don’t appear anxious to and bacon are unaltered. AUCKLAND, Thursday. Share Market.—bales to-day : Loan and Mercantile Company, 70s. Sellers : Bank of New Zealand, £l7 2s Cd; National, 65s : Colonial, 42s 6d; New Zealand Insurance. 50s; South British, 455; Standard, 21s ; Union, 15s. Mining—Bayers: Moanataira, 12s. Sellers; Thames, 20s; Kurunui, 6s.
