The steamer Napier arrived from Blenheim yesterday morning, and returned again to the same port during the evening. . . The steamer Manawatu got away for Wanganui yesterday evening. She returns to port on Saturday morning. . The Union Company’s steamer Rmgarooma is due this morning from Melbourne and Hobarton via Southern ports. The Government steamer Hinemoa, which had been despatched in search of the buoy lost by the steamer Agnes, was at anchor yesterday in Worser Bay, the southerly weather prevailing on the coast precluding a landing being effected on the beach. The Union Company’s steamer Wanaka is due this morning from Auckland and East Coast ports. She sails again durfhg the afternoon for Lyttelton and Port Chalmers. The schooner Aurora put back to harbor yesterday forenoon, owing to the heavy easterly weather prevailing on the East Coast. The Union Company’s steamer Waitaki sailed for Manukau and intermediate ports at 4 o’clock yesterday afternoon. On and after the first day of January next, tho white light at present shown from the flagstaff at Olcarito, West Coast of the Middle Island, will be discontinued. The steamer Tui leaves for Wanganui this day, at noon sharp:
