THE WELLINGTON TRAMWAY COMPANY AND THE VOLUNTEERS.
TO THE EDITOR OF THE NEW ZEALAND TIMES. Sj ß lam sorry to see by the alteration of the company’s night time-table that the Volunteers will be deprived of the opportunity of getting to the new drill-shed at Mount Cook Barracks, now nearly completed. As the various Volunteer companies always fall in at 7.30 p m. I think it would be advantageous to the Tram Company if they ran a train, say at 7.10 p.m., from the Government Buildings, and I feel certain it would be a benefit to all concerned. L. W. L. Wellington, 19th November, 1879.
