PICTON, Friday. The Tabroa arrived from ■Wellington at 8 - 30 last night, and left again at 11 for Nelson. * FOXTON, Friday. Arrived: 7.50 a.m., Huia, from Wellington. NELSON, Friday. Arrived : 7 a.m., Taiaroa, from Picton. Sailed : 9.30 a.m., Wellington, for Picton and Wellington. The following vessels were in port last night:— Steamer*—Samson, Arawata, Agnes, Napier, Lyttelton, Jane Douglas, ami Grafton. Ships—Rakaia, Wairoa, St. Leonards, and Zcalandia. Barques— Malay and Australind. Three-masted schooner— Ellorton. Captain Williams’ brig Robin Hood, which sailed for Newcastle on Thursday morning, being unable to boat outside against the stiff southerly wind, brought up in Worser Bay. i he Government steamer Stella sailed yesterday afternoon with stores for the Brothers Lighthouse. From thence sho proceeds to Farewell Spit and Nelson. The steamers Napier and Lyttelton arrived from Blenheim yesterday afternoon. They both return to the same port this evening. The steamer Stormbird left for Foxton yesterday evening. The Union Company's steamer Wellington will arrive this morning from Manukau and intermediate porta. The steamer Tui got away for Wanganui shortly after 4 o’clock yesterday afternoon. The steamers Huia from Foxton. Manawatu from Wanganui, and Patea from Fatca, may bo expected to arrive this morning. The steamer Stormbird left Foxton at G a in. on Thursday; called at Kapiri, took in a quantity of wool, and proceeded to Wellington, but was compelled t'» take shelter in Ohau Bay from the southerly galo. Left again at 4 a.m. yesterday, and arrived alongside Ihe v harf at 9 a.m. The Stormbird sailed again during the evening for Foxton. The Union Company’s steamer Wakatipn left Port Chalmers at 4 p.m. on the 12th; reached Lyttelton at 10 a.m. on the 13th: sailed at 5p.m., and arrived in harbor at 10 am. yesterday. Experienced thick foggy weather throughout tho pas j age. The Wakatipu sailed again shortly after noon for Sydney direct. The Union Company’s steamer Penguin is due tomorrow morning from Lyttelton and Port Chalmers, she leaves again at noon on Monday for Napier, Gisborne, Tauranga. Auckland, and Russell. The steamer Southern Cross from Auckland and East Coast porta should put in an appearance in harbor to-morrow. The steam p Rangatira, from Manukau, Taranaki, and Wanganui, arrived in harbor at half-past eleven yesterday morning. Sho sailed again at Cin tho evening for Wanganui, returning to port on Sunday. The Government steamer Hinemo*, with Sir Hercules Robinson and suite from Lyttelton, will arrive here this forenoon. The Union Company's steamer Hawea, from Auckland and East Coast ports, which was due here yesterday morning, had not put in an appearance up to a late hour last night. She was telegraphed as having left Napier at 6 p.m, on Thursday, but had to take shelter under tho Kidnappers from the south-west galo which prevailed along the coast yesterday. A telegram was received lastevenirg by the local agent stating that the steamer was <n sight off Castlepoint. She should arrive in harbor about 3 o’clock th-s morning, The Hawea is advertised to sail South at 2 o'clock this afternoon.
