WOOL MARKET REPORT. Messrs, Murray. Roberts, and Co report, under date Loudon, 26th September, as follows“ Since our last report, dated 20th August, the position of the wool market has undergone little change. Fluctuations to a small extent have taken place, bub they have not been material, and on the whole we can only describe the situation as a weak market. For special descriptions such as greasy wool of good breed and character, and-for the finer-haired cross-breds, there li is been good competition, but forothersorts there has been but a languid demand. The cross-bred qualities which come into competition with domestic wools are vovy slow of sale, and a reference to the catalogues will show how low are the rates now ruling for wasiied and scoured of this description. Business, both on the Continent and at Horae, remains in a most depressed condition, and agricultural and political prosarc such as to induce, rerr great caution and reserve on the part of the trading community generally. Thu attendance of buyers throughout has been very moderate, and the sales closed without animation ; and wo can only conclude by saying that a revival is hoped but of it* coming there is not yet the slightest sign. 325,701 bales have passed the hammor of which about U 0 per cent, has been bought on foreign account, ami 33,000 bales have been bought
