Binney reports sales of Adelaide flour, £lO ; Canterbury do. £l3 10s to £l4 ; bran. £5 10s: pollard, £5 10s; maize, 3s Od to 3s 8d; Sydney fowl wheat, 3s 6d ; oats, from 2s 4d to 3s, market full; hams and bacon, 9d : butter. 9d ; potatoes, £8 10s to £10; cheese. Sd; onions, 4d per lb ; pearl barley, £25 ; oatmeal. £ls 10s. CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. The Canterbury Corn Exchange report for the week states there is little or no alteration to note in the value of corn. Wheat—The small parcels in 'tire market arc eagerly taken by local millers. Prime milling, 4s Sd to 4s lOd ; extra good samples, a shade higher; medium, 4s (id to 4s 8d ; chick, 3s 6d to 3s lOd. Oats—The quantity offered is in excess of requirements. There is no demand for shipment, except for prime milling samples, which are quoted at 2s 4d to 2s Gd ; feed, 2s 2d to 2s 4d. Barley—No inquiry, maltsters being well supplied. Prime malting is quoted at 5s to 5s 2d : medium, 4s to 4s 9d. Pota-toes-Strong demand for export. Eager buyers at advanced rates. Planting In many localities is finished, and with fine weather, new potatoes will be soon in. Those in the market are worth £6 per ton. Cheese is saleable at old to 6d ; butter, 6d to Sd per lb.
