ATHEK.KUM HAL L, LAMBTON-QUAY, (Conducted on the same Principle as the National Training School, London.) MISS F IDLER, From the Edinburgh School of Cookery, Begs to intimate to the Ladies of Wellington that she will give a course of Practical Lessons in Cookery. The course of instruction will consist of Twelve Lessons, accompanied with illustrations of Practical Cooking. A large Gas Stove will be fitted up, and Pupils will be enabled to see the various processes of Cooking from first i to last. The afternoons of Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays will bo devoted to superior as well as plain cooking. The Evening Classes arc formed to suit the convenience of those who cannot attend in the afternoon. Ladies in business and attending schools are particularly invited to attend the Evening Classes. The Lessons will bo of two hours, or more, duration each day, between the hours of two and four iu the afternoon, and seven and nine iu the evening. During the progress of the Lesson the teacher will minutely describe the ingredients, quantities, mixing, time of cooking—in fact, every detail incidental to the Lesson. Pupils are requested to provide themselves with a small notebook and pencil, that they may make their own notes, and thereby retain what they could not trust to their own memory. The articles made at each Lesson will he laid on the counter with the price attached, and the pupils will be at liberty to purchase them. ’ The Lessons will include the cooking of , Soups, Poultry, Entrees, Fish, Stews, &c., Cakes, Pastry, Puddings, Pies, Jellies, &c. Special care will be taken to show the pupils c that not an atom of material used iu the i kitchen need be wasted or thrown away. One Lesson in each course will be devoted to sick-room cookery. LESSONS. Special Class—Mondays, Wednesdays, i and Saturdays, from 2 to 4. i Evening Class —Mondays, Wednesdays, 1 and Saturdays, from 7 to 9. Ladies intending joining for the course, are requested to do so after the first lesson, as Miss Fidler will only give one course of twelve lessons in Wellington. TERMS.
