Throemasted schooners —May and Sophia, The Government steamer Hlnenioa. from Napier, with the Last Coast members, arrived in harbor at 1.20 yesterday afternoon. The Union Company’s steamer Penguin is due here this morning from Auckland and the East Coast ports. She sails again at noon for Lyttelton and Port Chalmers. The steamer Stormbird came off the Slip yesterday, and will leave for Wanganui at 1 o’clock this afternoon. The steamer Murray, from Nelson and West Coast, should arrive h"re this morning. She is advertised to return to West Oast ports at * o’clock this afternoon. The Union Company's steamer Taiaroa sails for Manukau and intermediate ports at 4 p.m, to-day. The steamer Wanganui, from Nelson and West Coast ports, mav be expected to arrive here this evening. She leaves again for Lyttelton, Timarn, Oamarn, and Dunedin at noon to-morrow. The Union Company's steamer Albion, from Melbourne via the South, should arrive in harbor tomorrow. She returns again to Melbourne and ilobarton via the South at 2 p.m. on Monday, The steamer Patea did not leave for Patea on Wednesday night as intended. She, however, took her departure at 8.45 a. m. yesterday The steamer Jluia should arrive to-day from Kaikoura. Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She is advertised to * leave for Poston at 4 p.m. to-morrow. The Union Company’s steamer Waitaki, from Manukau and intermediate ports, with the Southern })ortion of the San Francisco mail, will arrive in mrbor S o’clock this morning. The steamer Kiwi left Napier at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, reached Castlepolnt at 0 a.m. on Wednesday, stopped there till 0 a.m. yesterday, hut was unable to land cargo on account of the heavy sea on the beach, proceeded on to this port, arriving at 11 o’clock last nieht. she returns to East Coast ports at 4 o’clock this evening'.
