MEETINGS OF CREDITORS.
An adjourned meeting of creditors of Chas. W. Langstons, called for yesterday, fell through in consequence of it not having heen gazetted. The adjourned meeting of creditors of Jas. Hutchens again lapsed for want of a quorum. An adjourned meeting of creditors of William Mitchell, wheelwright, took place at tho office of Mr. 0. 0. Baker. Tho business was to further consider an offer of 3s. in the pound from Mr. Whitehead, but after a lengthy discussion it was agreed to refuse the offer, the property to be sold unless Mr. Whitehead was willing to give ss. in the pound for the estate.
