FATAL ACCIDENT AT TAURANGA.

(PER PRESS AGENCT.) TaUßAnoa, Monday. _ Captain Marks, harbormaster and pilot, and his son Hannibal were drowned in the harbor on Saturday by the capsizing of the pilot boat in a strong breeze. Captain Marks supported his brother-in-law, Mr. Vercoe, for some time, but at last both sank. Mr. Vercoe was rescued by Mr. P. A. Warbrick and resuscitated. Jack Marks also supported his brother Hannibal for some minutes but was obliged to relinquish his hold. Both of the deceased leave wives and families.
