Steamers—Tui, Hawea, Taiaroa, Lyttelton, Napier. St. Kilda, Stella, and Grafton. Ships—Pleione and Pareora. Barques—Chaudiere, Beemah, Loch Cree. The steamer Huia left Foxton at half-past 7 yesterday morning, and arrived in port at 5 o’clock same day ; experienced light southerly wind, with smooth water, throughout the passage. She leaves for Kaikoura and Lyttelton at 5 o’clock this evening. The steamers Ra ngatira and Oreti sailed for Wanganui, Taranaki, and Manukau, on Saturday evening. The ketch Thames, from the Kaikouras, with a cargo of produce, arrived here late on Friday night. The cutter Lena, from Port Underwood, with a cargo of fish, arrived late on Friday, and sailed again yesterday. The Union Company’s steamer Wellington arrived here early yesterday morning. She sailed again at noon for Taranaki and Manukau with the outward San Francisco mail. The steamer Tui left Wanganui on Friday night, and arrived in harbor at 10 o'clock on Saturday morning. She returns to the same port at 5 p.m. today. The steamer Napier arrived here on Friday night from Blenheim. She returns at 8 p.m. to-day. The sailing of the steamer Manawam on Saturday was postponed till 3 p.m. to-day being unable to ship cargo on account of the wet weather. Captain Williams’ barque Australind sailed for Newcastle yesterday afternoon. The steamer Kiwi, from Napier and Castlepoint, should arrive here early this morning. She is advertised to return to the same places at 4 o’clock this afternoon. The topsail schooner Laurel, from Lyttelton, arrived In harbor at 12.30 p.m. on Saturday. The steamer St. Kilda left Dunedin at midnight on Wednesday; reached Oamaru early the following morning ; sailed at 7 p.m. same day for Lyttelton, where she arrived at 4 p.m. on Friday; got away again at 1 p.m. on Saturday, and arrived here at 1.30 p.m. yesterday. She has a quantity of c*rgo from Oamaru and Dunedin for Wanganui. Experienced light southerly wind, with smooth sea, throughout the passage. The St. Kilda leaves for Wanganui at 4 o’clock this evening. The Union Company’s steamer Ladybird left Auckland on the 12th : called at Tauranga, Poverty Bay, and Napier, and arrived in harbor at 11.45 a.m. on Saturday. She sailed South shortly after noon yesterday. The Union Company's steamer Taiaroa left the Manukau at 3 p.m. on the 13th ; was off Taranaki at 8 a.m. on the 14th ; got .away again at D. 30 a*m., and arrived at Nelson at 2a.m. on tuo 15th ; leftat6pm., and reached Picton at 2.39 a.m. on Saturday morning; sailed again at 5 a.m*, and arrived in port at 11 a.m.; experienced moderate weather to Picton ; thence to arrival heavy sea- She leaves for Picton and Nelson at 4 p.ra. to day. The Union Company’s steamer Hawea left Port Chalmers at 2 p.m. on Fridav, and cached Lyttelton at 8 a.m, on Saturday; sailed for Wellington at 5 p.ra., arriving at 10 am. yesterday. Had light rainy weather, with smooth sea. along the cosst. She sails for Auckland and East Coast ports at noon to-day.
