GEORGE THOMAS has received instructions, by order of the mortgagee, from Mr. A- S. Allan, the Registrar, to sell by public auction, at his auction rooms. Hunter-street (late Vennell’s auction room), on Friday, the 18th July, at 2 o'clock, the parcels of land (described more particularly in the schedule below), which, together, form a property of great value, consisting of 811 acres, and situate near the Taita, in the Lower Hutt Valley. 100 acres of this property, consisting of rich bottom land, close to the road, suitable for market gardens, with yards, garden, and a fourroomed house; is subject to a lease which has 8J years to run, at a rental of £2OO per annum. 6 acres of the laud, with a dwelling-house thereon, consisting of an orchard, stocked with 600 choicest fruit trees, and stable, piggeries, &c.; is also subject to a lease with 8J years to run, the annual rental being £35. The remainder of the property consists in part of dense bush, suitable for firewood, posts and rails,&c.. and in part open grazing land, with a nine-roomed dwelling-house, surrounded with a garden, upon it. The property is divided into suitable and convenient paddocks by substantial fences, the whole being within easy access of the railway and the city by good metalled roads. SCHEDULE.—FREEHOLD. _ 1. All that piece of land containing 392 acres more or leas, being the whole of the section No. 229, part of sections Nos. 231 and 232, on the plan of the Hutt District 2. All that piece of laud containing 60 acres more or leas, being the whole of the section No. 230, Hutt District 8, All that piece of land containing 28 acres and two roods, being portion of section No. 44, Hutt District 4. All’ that piece of land containing 40 acres more or less, adjoining section No. 231, Hutt District. _ 6. All those pieces of land containing 80 acres more or less, in the Hutt District, being the lands comprised in the applications of Peter Bruce, dated 29th day of September, 1865, No. 3148, and the 6th day of May, 1868, No. 3614 at Crown Lands Office, Wellington 6. Also, all that piece of land containing 113 acres more or less in Lower Hutt District The last mentioned pieces of land are subject to a mortgage for £9OO and interest.
