MELBOURNE MARKETS. Tho following is Messrs. Goldsbrongh and Co.’s report for the week ending June 4 Wool.—Wo hare sold about 100 bales during the week, chiefly small lota in ordinary condition. Prices range from 7d to 9d per lb for inferior to fair average Merino. ..... Sheepskins.—Wo report a steady market at late rates. With the exception of crossbreds all classes of skins And ready purchasers at quotations. Butchers’ green pelts realised up to '.is Od each; do dry do. up to 2s Ort each : dry ukins (bundled), up to 5Jd per lb. Hides.—The tone of this market continues extremely flat, all hides, except superior heavy weights, being moat difficult to clear, except at prices which are unsatisfactory to vendors. Light bad-conditioned hides, in particular, are almout unsaleable. Calfskins also lire much neglected. Ox hides (average sizes) realised ti . u ’. is to 22s ; cow hides, do. from 9s 13s each ; Victorian salted (heavy), from 2Jd to d per lb : do (light), from Jd to 2Jd per lb; New aland (nominal) , from 3Jd to 3Jd per lb. ‘ Kangaroo Skins.—Large, fresh skins, in good condition, realise up to Is per lb, but inferior and medium skins are neglected, at very low rates. Tallow.—The tone of this market is again weaker, and at our sale held yesterday the bulk disposed of consisted of country lots, taken to meet local require-

ments. few sales having taken place for shipment. Best mutton Is worth up to £27 ISsper ton, and other qualities realise in proportion.

Wheat.—Since onr last report we have sold privately and by public auction 2191 bags grain. Wo realised Ds Hid for 55 bags prime white Tuscan seed. At our sale to-day there was a large attendance of buyers and spirited competition. We quote; Prime seed, 5< Hid: prime milling, 6s 9d to 5s Did; medium to good, 6s fld to 6s 8d ; and inferior to medium, 4s fld to 5s 2d per bushel. . Oats.—Wo offered a fair cataloguo.fbut, owing to the heavy arrivals, last week's quotations werenot maintained. We sold 1200 bages at the following rates;—Prime milling, 3s 8d; prime feed, 3a 60: medium to good, 3< Id to 3s 3d;t and inferior, 2s 10id perbushel. . . , . , Flour. —Wc quote good country brands at from *,ll 17s 6d to £l2 per ton ; and town-milled at £l2 10a to £1215s per ton. . , . Barley.—Owing to the continued heavy arrivals of this cereal, late quotations have not been maintained.
