The catalogue consisted principally of oddments of clips and scoured parcels, for which latter there was good competition. Ordinary to average greasy realised from 7d to Od p6r lb, and scoured up to Is 6£d per lb. Sheepskins.—The market has been well supplied during the past week, and wo report having cleared a full supply at quotations. The tone of tho market Is steady, but crossbreds are still difficult to quit at satisfactory prices. Butchers’ green pelts realised up to 3s Od each: do dry do, up to 2s Od each; dry skins (bundled), up to 5Jd per lb. Hides —This market continues very depressed, only heavy weights in good cnudlMon realising at prices satisfactory to vendors. A.i Ugh t hides are much neglected, and. In order to find purchasers, very low prices have to bo accepted. Ox-hldes (average sizes), realised from 15s to 22s each; cow bides, from 0s to 13s Od each; Victorian salted (heavy), from 2Jd to 3jd per lb: do (light), from 2jd to 2|d per lb; Now Zealand (nominal), from 2fd to 3jd per lb. Tallow.—Wo submitted a full catalogue at auction yesterday, the bulk of which was passed in in consequence of tho low prices offered. We disposed of some country lota at about late rates, but local vendors are loth to realise at reduced values: henco most of tho best brands wore withhold from sale.
