It is noticeable that New Zealand is the only Australasian Colony that, daring IS7B, exported ft greater quantity of wool from her shores to London than iu the preceding year. t . , . The return of tho Australian Colonies is somewhat misleading, as Victoria exports 300,000 bales against New South Wales and Queensland 175,000. whereas tho latter colonies own together more thin 20,000,000 sheep, against Victoria's 10,000,000. New Zodami Is now second on tho list, the export from the Cape showing a great falling off.
