LONDON WOOL MARKET. Messrs. At the commencement of this campaign there were, unfortunately, 53,000 bales of old stock held over in first hands (besides largo quantities in other hands) of last season’s wool: not an encouraging circumstance In beginning to deal with the new clip, especially when tho greatest efforts had been found necessary by importtors throughout the preceding season to support values by withdrawing, buying in, and other means to stint the market.
