COMMERCIAL.
Mr. J. H. Wallace sold yesterday the wreck of the City of Auckland, as she lies stranded at Otaki beach, with tho spars, sai's, Ac , and pig iron. _ Lot 1, the ship, with standing spars, condenser, windlass, fire engine, &c., was started at at £lO. but quickly ran up to £l5O, at which figure it was knocked down to Mr. J. C. Cooper. Lot 2. comprising sails, anchor, 250 fathoms wire rope, fire cmdne, &c., was knocked down to Mr. W. K. Williams for £65. Lot 3, 100 tons pig iron, to Mr. A. Boonstra, for £l2los. Tho attendance was good.
