The Second Meeting of tho Wellington Athletic Club Sports will take place on the Basin Reserve, on Saturday, 14th September, at' 3 p.m. The one race only set down for competition is the 20 mile walking race, to be walked within four hours. Any one starting or going over his mark with either foot will be put back ono yard for each of tho frst and second offences, and disqualified for the third. No attendance will be allowed mder any pretence. No spikes allowed in the Tigof- War. In tho Walking Race, competiors breaking will be cautioned once, and disqialified for the second offence, but no cautionwill bo allowed in tho last lap. The decision ol tho judges will be final.
