Sir, —As the Prince of Wales’ Birthday falls upon Saturday, the 9th November, the clay on which the San Francisco mail closes, I think oar worthy Mayor should take steps to have the holiday, kept on the following Monday', as the alteration would confer a great boon upon a very large proportion of the community, and [ hopo, sir, that you will use your valuable pen towards the accomplishment of this object—l am. &c., Commercial.
