Sir, —I call the attention of the people of Wellington, aye, and of all New Zealand, through the medium of your paper, to a report current in this town, and which has received a certain amount of confirmation from tho Hon. the Telegraph Commissioner, to the effect that Ministers have used their powers to inflict, for political purposes, a very serious wrong on their political opponents, and a purely mercantile enterpiise like the Press Agency, in giving to a w.mld-be rival company of warm political partisans a concession in the use of the telegraph wires, which will only be available to those who associate themselves with this company.—l am, &c., Fair Play.
