MANGONUI AND BAY OF ISLANDS ELECTORAL.

A Bill intituled au Act providing for the Hearing of Objections to certain persons claiming to be Electors for the Mangonui and Bay of Islands Electoral District. W hereas, at the last sitting of the Revision Court for the electoral district of Ala*ignnni and Bay of Islands, objections to tho claims of a large number of pe sons ma te by tho icgistrafon officer could not bo heard, bv reason of the reclstration officer having resigned his office immediately before tho itting of the jpid Court.: And whereas it is just and expedient that the said objections should bo heard at the next sitting of the Revision Court for the sahl district: Be it therefore enacted by the General Aseembly of Zealand in ParUamo; t assembled, and by the authority of tho same, a* follows : 1. Tho short title of this Act shall lie the Mangonui and Bay of Inlands Electoral Act. 1878. 2. »t shall be the duty of the registration oflicerof tho electoral district of Mangonui and Bay of Inlands, and ho is hereby required, to insert the namo of any person who was so objected to as aforesaid in the next Tst of voters for revision as a person objected to, so that all such objections as aforesiid may bo hoard and determined at tho next sitting of the Revision Court for tho said electoral district of Mangonui and Bay of Islands.
