CONSIGNEES are hereby notified that the above ship j was entered at the Custom House yesterday, and will be berthed at the wharf and commence discharging as soon as possible. All cargo not passed for will be stored at their risk and expense. No claim will be acknowledged for goods not examined before leaving the wharf. Bills of lading must be produced and freight paid to the undersigned. In consequence of above barque, on her recent voyage from London, having made sacrifices and incurred expenses which will form a general average claim, it will be necessary for consignees, before obtaining delivery of cargo, to pay a deposit of two and a-half per cent. (2i per cent.) on the value of their consignments, and to execute a bond to pay the correct sum, less the deposit, on adjustment of the average. The bond lies for signature at the office of the undersigned. Repacking sample bales (when required), ss. per bale. Insurance,—2s. 6d.- per cent, on market value. This charge protects the goods from the time they enter the warehouse, and is made •u all eases, unless specially instructed to the contrary. • Advertising for sale and cataloguing, 3d. per bale. Commission on sales over £SOO, II per cent.; under that sum, 2J per cent. Charges on Produce.—On sheepskins and hides, 2J per cent, commission only. On tallow, a receiving and delivering charge of 6d.' per cwt., in addition to commission of 21 per cent,, will be charged.
