CRICKET.
TO THE EMTOH OF THE NEW ZEALAND TIMES. Sie, —Would you oblige by informing me what is the greatest score made by Mr. \V. G. Grace in one innings ? I have looked through " Lillywhito's Cricketing Annual for 1877," but have found in it no elucidation of my question. In several places in Mr. Lillywhite's Guide it is stated that England's champion cricketer achieved his greatest triumph in a thatch played at Grimsby on the 10th, 11th, and 12th July, 187b',- between the United South of England and twenty-two of Worsley Club; whilst in the saino edition of Mr. Lillywhito's Annual the highest n batting score in a single innings for 1870 is that of Mr. W. G. Graoe,'vis., 311.—Iamj &c, IKQWEEK,
