Sin, —The attention of the committee of the Wellington Benevolent Institution having been called to an advertisement of a p rformance of a Maori war dance at the Imperial Opera House on Wednesday (to-morrow) night “ for the benefit of the Benevolent Society,” I am requested to state that the performance is eo advertised without the knowledge or consent of the committee.—l am, Chas.
