Jonas, Hart, and Wilkie report their transactions for the past week as follows Eleven head of fat cattle, prime quality, realised £ll 10s, equal to 32. sGd per lOOIbs. Store cattle are in much better demand—Steers and heifers, from two to three years old, fetched from £C 10s to £7 5s : yearlings, £3 7s Cd. The demand for staunch draught horses continues good, and rates are mllng high—Staunch draught, £55 to £72; medium ditto, £45 to £53; light ditto, £29 to £33 ; hacks and light harness, £7 to £23.

THE LONHOX WOOL & PRODUCE MARKET. The New Zealand Loan and M rcantilo Agency Company have received the following telegram, under date London, 21st Instant: —The wool sales opened on the 20th ins’ant, at the level of last sales, and comprise about 350.000 bales. One hundred and seventy-seven thousand bales have b cn sent to the manufacturing districts direct. The market is firmer for washed combing wools. Competition by both homo and foreign buyers is active. Trade in tho manufacturing districts is slightly better. Tho tallow market is flat—Da'it mutton, 3Ss Gd : beef, 36s Cd. Tho wheat market is quiet; tho quality of tho crops hero is good. Tho leather market is quiofc—Rest sides. oi<l.
